painted popsongs

The basis of my painted popsongs is the music of The Velvet Underground.

In my work, I bring three media together. I trace the alternating effects and mutual conditions of

Painting – Music – Speech.

First, I listen over & over.

Through repetition, I organize the chaos of a popsong.

I pick up textual and musical fragments like everybody.

The text chips touch my feelings and evoke these pictures.

I disassemble the popsongs through my organs of perception:

I`m led by the principles

– liking- disliking

– understanding – misunderstanding.

My goal is to prove the subjectivity of the world of human beings.

I hear what I`m able to hear

I see what I´m able to see.

Grounded on my subjective, selective experience.
